Born in 1873 in Kaikkara, Thiruvananthapuram district to Sree Narayanan Perungadi and Smt. Kaliamma, Kumaru turned into born into the then socially and economically backward Ezhava community. After finishing his primary schooling at a local kindergarten and number one faculty, Kumar fell ill at the age of eighteen. At the age of approximately 20, he became an inmate of the Kumara Vakkom Subramanya Temple, immersed himself in nonsecular scripture studying, yoga and meditation ,and wrote “Veenapoovu Poem Summary In Malayalam”.
